Ragnar Thor Jonsson leaves Eimskip

Ragnar Thor Jonsson, Executive Vice President of the Vessels and Containers Department of the Eimskip Group, left Eimskip 14th of November.

Mr Jonsson started working for Eimskip as a summer replacement in the Production Management department in 1998. He was recruited again to Production Management in January 1999. In November 2000, Mr Jonsson accepted the position of Managing Director of Production Management and became the Managing Director of the Eimskip Import Department in August 2004. Mr Jonsson accepted the post of Executive Vice President of Shipping in October 2005. Mr Jonsson received an MSc degree from Boston University in 1998. He graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Iceland in 1995.
