Vessel in operation for Eimskip towed to harbour in Denmark
Vessel in operation for Eimskip was towed to harbour in Grenaa in Denmark yesterday as a water was discovered in the engine room as the vessel was on its way to Iceland. The vessel, which is owned by Norwegians and has a capacity of 350 container units, was in operation for Eimskip due to increased demand in import to Iceland from Rotterdam and Arhus. The shipments are undamaged and currently Eimskip works at minimising the delay due to this. The vessel arrived to Greena at approximately 18:00 PM local time on Sunday. The crew was not in danger when the leakage was discover. There were 10 crewmember on board the vessel.
