Changes the the America-route

From the next departure, Eimskip's America-route will change.  The change will lead to an increase in productivity and speed up the transport by reducing calls in North-America.  The route will run on days instead of fixed dates, leading to the departure from Reykjavik not being set on Fridays as it has been, but changing between routes.

This schedule will be in effect through the summer, and then evaluated for further duration.

The new route is as follows, with each circle (Reykjavik-Richmond-Reykjavik) being 24 days:

• IS Reykjavík – Departure
• CA Argentia (Newfoundland)
• US Everett (US Boston)
• US Richmond
• CA Halifax
• CA Argentia (Newfoundland)
• IS Reykjavík – End of circle
