The Stairway – Eimskip Logistics AB moves up one certification level to Step 4

Forwarding Manager, Magnus Svensson, receives the Certification for step 4 in the Stairway from Anette Skommargård and Annika Berg at the Customs Authorities.

In 2003 Eimskip Logistics AB in Sweden worked out approved routines for our customs procedures for the quality certification in the Stairway.

All concerned staff got extra customs education followed by tests. As a part of this project the routines with our customers were checked and improved. In the end of 2003 we received the certification for Step 3 in the Stairway from the Customs authorities.

Ever since our certification in 2003 we have continuously worked on improving the routines based on the customers needs, to be able to meet the requirements of a simplified, fast and high quality handling of their customs processes.

As of February 2007, we are happy to announce that we have moved up one level and are now certified at Step 4.
Step 4
Companies that have had all their Customs routines quality assured are placed on Step 4. There will be no interruption in the flow of goods from the Customs.
The Stairway is a system for creating effective processes with high level of quality.
It is based on a partnership between customs and trade.
