Transportbookings – LCL and FCL(containers)

As most shippers in Sweden have experienced over the last weeks, an extreme amount of cargo is being transported on the roads at the moment. This has sometimes made it difficult for the hauliers to arrange for transport with as short notice as before, and to avoid delays we kindly ask you to book pickup of your cargo as early as possible.

LCL
When we arrange pickup of your cargo we would be very grateful if you could please make your booking-reservation not later than Fridays, for the cargo to be ready to be released at your warehouse on Monday morning.

FCL(containers)
We kindly ask you to please book the transport as early as possible before loading, so that the hauliers have at least a couple of days to find trucks and plan the transport.

Deadline for delivery of goods/containers is the same as before (ref. to “Deadline charges in Gothenburg from 1st January 2007”). Available on www.eimskip.se  (“see all news”)
 
CMR/Deliverynotes – LCL

We would also like to take the opportunity to stress the importance of sending 2 ex. of CMR/deliverynote with the haulier where information about the goods is specified – one for the terminal to keep and one for the haulier to bring back – where number of received packages will be noted and signed for, together with any remarks.
