About Godafoss

Godafoss was built in Denmark in 1995 and is the 6th vessel named Godafoss. The vessel came in service for Eimskip in 2000 and is still operating on the blue line, calling Iceland, Faroe Islands and Northern Europe. The first vessel named Godafoss was in Eimskip’s service form 1915 until 1916. Godafoss is named after one of Iceland’s most iconic waterfall placed in the northeast part of the country.
