About Laxfoss

Laxfoss was built in the Netherlands in 1995 and is one of five sister vessels in the same class. Laxfoss is the 6th vessel with that name in service for Eimskip. The fist vessel named Laxfoss was in service for Eimskip from 1969 until 1976. Eimskip bought Laxfoss in 2003 and from that date it has been operating on the spot-market transporting meal and other bulk cargo to and from Iceland and northern Europe.
