Canada

Eimskip began sailing to Newfoundland, Canada in 1972 when it entered into an agreement with the U.S. Navy to transport military cargo between Norfolk, Va. and Argentia. In the early 1980s, Eimskip made Nova Scotia a port of call for transporting cargo to and from Europe and the United States. After the departure of the U.S. Navy, in 1989, Eimskip also began using the U.S. Navy Fleet Dock facility located at Argentia as port of call in moving cargo to and from Europe and the US.

In recent years, Eimskip has expanded into several services including port agency, logistics services, and forwarding.
