Eimskip announces new port call in USA

The Port of Richmond, located on the James River, is strategically located in the Mid Atlantic region with multi-modal infrastructure, including on-site CSX railcar connection.

Easy access to I-95, the principal North-South transportation artery on the East Coast

This port call change is the result of an overall restructuring designed to centralize US Mid Atlantic traffic through one port. These changes are reflected on the following schedule:

Richmond Initial call – Bruarfoss V 612 on November 9th

Newport News Final call - Skogafoss V 611 on October 26th

Philadelphia - Final call - Bruarfoss V 612 on November 8th.

Eimskip will continue to operate two vessels in the trade with service calls to US and Canadian ports on a biweekly basis.

Service schedule to Boston will remain unchanged
