Eimskip opens new office in China with focus on seafood logistics

A new Eimskip sales office was opened in China on 20th of November 2006 as part of the ongoing development of Eimskip’s worldwide transport network. The office is located in Shenzhen, on Shenzhen port wich is nearby Hong Kong and is the 2nd largest containerport in China.

Operations at the Shenzhen office will mainly focus on the seafood logistics market along with increasing and developing additional business in fruits and vegetables.

Shenzhen office will cover Guangzhou, Zhanjiang, Beihai and Haikou, areas where many fish plants are located. Our aim is to build a complete network in each individual fish area, controlled by the head office in Shenzhen to offer full reefer logistics. Shenzhen is also looking for a suitable reefer project in South China.
