Announcement of the first quarter results on 13 March 2008

Hf. Eimskipafelag Islands (OMX: HFEIM), will announce its results for the first quarter of 2008, ending on the 31st of January 2008, on the 13th of March, after the closing of markets.

A presentation for shareholders and market participants will be held on Friday, the 14th of March, at the headquarters of Eimskip at Sundaklettur, Korngardar 2, Reykjavík. The presentation will commence at 08:30, and a light breakfast will be served. Stefan Agust Magnusson, CEO of Eimskip, will present the results and answer questions.
