Eimskip acquires a 100% share in the Lithuanian shipping line Kursiu Linija

Eimskip, a subsidiary company of Avion Group, is pleased to announce the acquisition of an additional 30% equity stake in Kursiu Linija. Eimskip previously held 70% of Kursiu Linija’s equity interest.  Kursiu Linija formed a part of the financial statements of Eimskip as of 1 August 2006 being the commencement of the fourth quarter in Eimskip’s financial year ending 31 October.  The purchase price for the 100% equity stake was 8 million EUR.  The purchase will be financed by Eimskip’s equity.
