DELIVERIES OF LCL-CARGO IN GOTHENBURG
We have recently noticed that a large quantity of LCL-cargo has a tendency of arriving at the very last minute, and some unfortunately even after deadline.
This results in long queues and waiting times for the truck drivers, late customs cleared containers and overload of work on the terminal, and in the end delays for the harbour with the loading of the vessel.
To avoid these situations in the future we want to point out that the deadline is the latest time for delivery of cargo – If you have the possibility to deliver the cargo earlier in the week we would be very grateful.
It is vital that large shipments, long packages and other cargo that must be loaded on flatracks and hazardous cargo is delivered in good time, hence deadline is on Tuesdays at 11.00 / 15.00.

Deadline:
LCL/hazardous cargo-IMO Tuesdays at 11.00
LCL/flat rack* Tuesdays at 15.00
LCL/general cargo Wednesdays at 10.00
FCL/containers Wednesdays at 23.00
* i.e. long packages, timber, cable drums and other type of cargo that needs to be loaded on flatracks instead of dry-containers.
Please also observe that the booking number always has to be stated on CMR and the Customs Documents. The truck driver must refer to the booking number to be allowed access to the terminal to deliver the cargo. This is to avoid wrongly delivered cargo.
