Liner Services to Iceland

Eimskip Italy offers weekly departures to Iceland, sailing ex Rotterdam every Wednesday with estimated arrival time in Reykjavik the following Monday. Transit time is thus 4 days.

We can provide LCL service and full container service to Iceland:

LCL service
Cargo is collected at our warehouse Sogemar (address: Via Marco Polo 6, 20066 Melzo - Milan) each week, within Thursday h. 15.00. If you deliver the cargo by your own means, please make sure you have the booking number by making a reservation for cargo unloading at our Milan office.

FCL service
We are able to collect the cargo at your premises with 20'DC, 40'DC, 40'HC, 20'OT and 40'OT containers. The cargo must be in gauge as the first part of the transport is by rail.

In order to reach the Wednesday sailing ex Rotterdam, the last day of cargo collection is as follows:

• Milan area, Thursday, the previous week
• Padova area, Wednesday, the previous week

Faster transit time possible in case of low season and cargo cleared at the shipper premises.

Direct truck
In case of shipments caracterized by any of the following:

• to/from Central and South Italy
• with particular dimensions
• temperature controlled/frozen cargo

We can arrange the cargo collection by truck, which will drive directly to Rotterdam. There the cargo will subsequently be loaded into a container.
