Recently some changes have been made in our global management team. We are happy to introduce three new Managing Directors in our global offices, in Sweden, China, and Germany.
- Gunnlaugur Grettisson has been hired as managing director for Eimskip Sweden. Gunnlaugur began to work for Eimskip in 2011 and has an extensive experience within Eimskip both in the Icelandic domestic operation and as well in the ferry services. Before 2011 Gunnlaugur was working as a sales manager in the IT and furniture industry and as office manager for district commissioner in Westman Islands. Eimskip Sweden has an extensive set-up in Helsingborg including office, warehouse, and trucking services.
- Jeff Lv. Leijie has been hired as managing director for Eimskip China. Jeff has extensive experience in the transportation industry and has been leading the Eimskip Qingdao operation since 2019 as general manager. Eimskip China has developed strongly in the past 17 years and is currently located in 4 different cities in China with over 100 employees.
- Sebastian Franke has been hired as managing director for Eimskip Germany. Sebastian was prior Liner Manager at Eimskip Germany and has extensive experience in the transportation industry. He will lead with his team the new strategy to further strengthen and grow the operation.
