Eimskip Logistics S.L. Spain has expanded its service network by opening a new office in Las Palmas, Canary Islands. The first day of operation was June 1st, 2018.

Eimskip has hired Christophe Del Mestre as the Branch Manager Canarias. Christophe has 20 years of extensive experience within the shipping and logistics in Canarias and West Africa markets. His recent employment was Director Commercial for Cosvas Atlantic, controlling the Cosco business in the Canaries, South of Morocco, Mauritania and Cape Verde.

The Las Palmas office will focus on the seafood logistics concept and offer various freight forwarding solutions, streamlining seafood transportation solutions from Canary Islands and West Africa, to worldwide destinations.

Not only servicing domestic and international customers but also servicing customers from other neighboring ports such as Agadir port (Morocco), Nouadhibou (Mauritania) and Dakar (Senegal), ports that are also key ports in the control of fishing operations in the Canary-Saharan fishing bank."
