Hulda Bjarnadóttir has taken on the role of Senior Manager for Culture and Communication, a new department within Eimskip's Human Resources & Communication division. This new department combines workplace culture, learning, and marketing under one team, while the wider division also includes human resources, payroll and remuneration, and communication.

“By establishing this new department, we aim to strengthen and align Eimskip's communications — both internally with employees and externally with customers, partners, and other stakeholders. This change creates new opportunities to connect workplace culture, learning, marketing, and communications, supporting the Company's continued development," says Harpa Hödd Sigurdardóttir, Executive Vice President of Human Resources & Communications.

Hulda joined Eimskip about a year ago from Marel, where she led transformation projects in an international environment and oversaw a range of human resources and communications initiatives. She has extensive experience in media, communications, public relations, and event management.

Hulda holds an MBA from Reykjavík University and has completed executive education in sustainability at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She also serves as President of the Golf Federation of Iceland.

“I look forward to strengthening aligned and impactful communication at Eimskip and contributing to the implementation of Eimskip 3.0. By continuing to advance our communication practices and workplace culture, Eimskip strengthens its position as a leading employer and a forward-thinking international company,” says Hulda Bjarnadóttir.
